Terrific Teen Program

We had such a great experience with Caroline! She's encouraging, fun, and breaks things down into manageable steps. Her training style makes it feel like a game that's enjoyable for both my wacky adolescent dog and me! We saw progress after the very first session and have lots of tools and strategies to keep us going. Holly has 100% captured the hearts of my family, and any other pet owners at the park when they see her try to initiate play with their pups (vigorously but very respectfully). I've included a few photo updates below, but I mostly wanted to thank you for all your coaching in both the Terrific Teen training and 1:1. Your support and ethos have been infinitely meaningful to me, and has been the guiding factor as I help Holly work steadily through her nervousness.

Enjoying her more and not bracing myself for this reactiveness has made a big difference and now we seem to be in a better place over all together. I feel a stronger bond right now too! Sleep has helped and also gives me some quiet time to myself which allows me to be more relaxed and rested around her so it creates a positive loop from me to her and then naturally from her to me. It feels like something is clicking and its such a great feeling. Even with challenges I just feel more OK with it all and that seems to make her feel ok with me! (funny that ;)) - I can’t thank you enough for all of this so far and look forward to continuing this amazing journey with your guidance. I can’t express how much this is helping us both!)

I have really enjoyed the refresher and have to say Lucy is doing well – I even had food on the coffee table this past weekend and she did not touch anything! Thanks for all your help with the training- it has been great!

My 10 month old puppy and I recently completed the Terrific Teen private training program. Our experience was outstanding! As a first time dog owner, Caroline has helped me to learn important commands and fun tricks and also set me on the right path on key questions relating to food, treats, potty training, establishing a routine, enrichment activities, caregivers, and separation anxiety. Caroline was warm, patient and clear and helped me to troubleshoot through challenges. l feel very well equipped moving forward and am comforted to know that Caroline is there if I need her expert guidance again. Caroline was an absolute game changer for our puppy. She helped us transform an anxious, reactive pup into a loving, confident part of our family. We have been clients of Caroline’s since we first got our puppy. He is now 1.5 years old and we have taken her puppy, teen, and reactivity courses and they have helped shape our dog into the wonderful family member that he is today. Caroline’s courses are incredibly informative and helpful. She explains concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, and she provides one-on-one support as part of each course to enhance and strengthen learning. If one method isn’t going well, she is always ready with a host of alternative options because she recognizes that there is no one-size-fits-all method for all pups and people. We feel very lucky to have her in our lives and look forward to learning more from her in the future!

Caroline's approach to training is very effective. She is knowledgeable about everything from healthy treats - to proper collars - to how to engage your dog. She is very thorough in understanding dogs' problems before private training sessions so that she can provide solutions each dogs' individualized needs. After a private training session she sends an email with personalized and detailed instructions. She also follows up on training sessions to ensure that everything has worked out perfectly - not just one email, but rather constant communication. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to achieve a happier and healthier relationship with their pet.
